WHEN THE EYE HAS GONE By Dougie Blaxland

When The Eye Has Gone tells the story of the all too brief life of Colin 'Ollie' Milburn - the cricketing legend who was one of England’s most unlikely sporting heroes.

The story swings backwards and forwards in time as he drinks yet another large gin and coke and re-enacts vivid memories including  the triumph of his first Test Century against the West Indies at Lords in 1966 and the disaster of losing his left eye in a car accident in 1969.

When The Eye Has Gone is produced by Roughhouse Theatre and LiveWire Theatre and was commissioned by The Professional Cricketers’ Association
